Assignment: Create a collection based on a trend
Based on the newest trends we individually had to create a mini women’s collection. These items are designed in Illustrator and it shows you the red wire through the whole collection.
Trendwatching
By watching the latest fashion show and following all kinds of fashion trendwatchers I immediately spotted the trend where a scarf is attached to the blouse and wanted to use this trend in my collection. I also was inspired by the clothes the horse riders wear when they do dressage. All this combined made my collection complete for my target group
Designing the three items
After doing a lot of market and target research I concluded that these designs will fit my researched consumer. They want elegance and quality. They will be produced in the labor friendly environment and the textile that will be used are silk and biological cotton. That is why these items will be more expensive
Making stylesheets and salesforcast
When making a new designs it is important to make a sales forecast. For this assignment I made a small sales forecast to show how many pieces of which size are going to be sold to a small brand and multibrand.

Besides the garment development assignment we had to design and create a lot of own designs in Illustrator. These items are created by me with eye for detail.
